![]() Theory of Potential Damage is a small calculation that I came up with. The Theory of Potential Damage - This just adds on to #3 but more comprehensive. I haven't played around with many classes since again I haven't won a game and I tend to gravitate towards rogue classes in pretty much all games that allow it, so fill in some of my gaps here. Regardless if they dodged all the projectiles you've hopefully taken tip #2 into account. They'll take their action to move closer to you with confusion, and then that's when you strike. Projectiles are fun - The idea that you can deal extra damage before they can touch you is key here because once they're 1 tile away all you need to do is use the cloak and disappear. Put your back to a door, draw them in, cloak up, surprise attack, move out the door, surprise attack again. So long as you keep stealth in mind, you should be able to come right up to enemies in the prison or avoid them entirely. I feel like this one is obvious, but it doesnt hurt reitterating. Surprise attacks are key - I've seen someone say "Kill it before it can even hit you" well with the rogue you have the upper hand. A strong cloak later on can open up a ton of possibilities: The ability to not have it equipped and recharge is game changing when you have a cloak with 8+ uses fully charged the assassin build opens up heavily if you get the assassin blade early on with a strong cloak not to mention the fact that you can get out of some sticky situations if you're out of potions ![]() Starting out as a rogue, don't be afraid to waste your cloak - What this means is you should use your cloak on every enemy within the first 2 levels if possible. Keep in mind, I haven't completed a game yet due to the fact that I keep f*cking up with the puzzle trap rooms, so my advice doesn't stretch far. I've seen some people look for rogue help and I feel like I have some good tips. Instead of just asking for tips I thought maybe we could all collaborate on this and bounce thoughts around. ![]()
